And the Rapier certainly isn't a STR weapon but it has pretty mediocre DEX scaling (and is a DPS machine in spite of this -- mostly because it's fast enough to take advantage of the damage boost rings in the game) The Gyrm Axe is both the slowest and hardest hitting. The Bandit Axe has no reach and is good in spite of this. I don't care for the moveset of most of the hammers but they're all fine. My personal favorite is the Craftsman's Hammer and it has easily the best moveset in the class. The only strength spear is the Gargoyle Bident. The capital G Greatsword, one of the best crowd control weapons in the game, and very high damage in a single hit. Also, max STR scaling. Its only weakness is that it's slow and has a bad tracking, but it's a beast and it's definitely different than a rapier or twinblades. Any of the Heide weapons are good. Innate lightning and good faith scaling once infused.
