I just recently purchased a rebuilt transmission from Drive Gear in Chicago. $1,100 shipped. New bearings and replacement of any worn out synchros. I then sold them all my remaining cores as I don't have time to get into the transmission rebuilding business. They all have a similar external shift linkage.
